Business-NGO Working Group
Ripple worked with Clean Production Action to publicly launch the Business-NGO Working Group for Safer Chemicals and Sustainable Materials – a first-of-its-kind organization made up of leaders from the corporate and nonprofit worlds working to create safer products. Ripple introduced reporters to the group by releasing their “Guiding Principles for Chemicals Policy,” which outlined a path for businesses to implement greener and safer chemicals. More than a dozen trade publications covered this launch including Chemical Week, Plastics News, Greenwire and GreenBiz. Ripple also helped design and edit the group’s new website and organized a press luncheon for reporters in the Bay Area who wanted to meet some of the key players during their annual meeting.
