Ripple Strategies worked with the Michigan-based Ecology Center to release the largest-ever study on toxic chemicals in home improvement products. We’re thrilled to report the study was covered in the New York Times, USA Today, MSNBC, CNN, Reuters, Bloomberg, ABC, NBC & Fox among many other outlets!
This original research let people know that there are currently NO RESTRICTIONS on chemicals used in home improvement products. Therefore, it wasn’t surprising that a range of harmful substances, including phthalates, lead, cadmium, chromium, tin and antimony, were found in many flooring and wallpaper samples.
